Week # 1 Westside

Just a reminder that the Chaperone Meeting will be on Tuesday, August 26th at 6:45. Please remember that we are required to have this meeting for anyone who plans on serving as a chaperone during the school year.
The Bus Parking lot is not available to parents or students for drop off/pick up after 3:30 in the afternoon. The buses usually clear around 4:15, but parents may drop off on the “hill” facing the band field if they prefer.
Band T-Shirts that have been ordered will NOT be available for the first game. Hopefully, these will available for the first home game with Westside.
The Bus List will be posted Monday, August 25th. Students may not change the list, but we will take requests for students who wish to switch.
Chaperone Meeting will be Tuesday, August 26th at 6:45. This is a mandatory meeting for all those who wish to chaperon. Background check forms must be filled out and turned in before the district will allow us to place any adults on the buses.
Game Procedure:
We will meet at Hanna at 6:00 PM to load the buses for the Westside Game.
All Students must ride the bus “dressed” to and from the game. Band Pants, Shoes, Socks and the BLACK Band T-Shirt.
Coats will be given out and taken up at the Game Site.
ALL STUDENTS MUST RIDE THE BUS BACK TO HANNA.
:IF YOU HAVE DONE SO PLEASE MAKE SURE TO TURN IN THE NAMES FOR THE “SPORTS DREAM” FUND-RAISER.
Our annual Spaghetti Supper this year will be held on Friday, October 24th. This will be be the night of the Wren Football Game which is also Homecoming and Band Senior Night. This year the Spaghetti Supper will be sponsored by the OLIVE GARDEN restaurant. Tickets will go on sale soon!
HOPE TO SEE EVERYONE AT THE WESTSIDE GAME THIS FRIDAY FOR OUR FIRST SHOW.
Flag Corps:
Makeup requirements:
RED Lip Stick/ Blush/ Neutral Eye Shadow/Black Eye Liner and Black Mascara/
Hair must be placed in a Bun, Hair Slicked back, no bangs
Black Socks Must be worn with the Uniform
All Percussion, Sousaphones, Marching Baritones, Euphonium, Mellophones and Tenor Saxophones
All Instruments must be marked with your name and loaded on the truck on Friday after the PEP Rally. You are responsible for making sure that your instrument, mallets etc are loaded.
ALL OF THESE INSTRUMENTS MUST BE PACKED AND RE-LOADED AFTER THE GAME.
THE LOADING CREW IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR INSTRUMENT
PASS OFFS:
Ballet Suite and Symphony Must be passed off by memory to Mr. Whitt
Reminders:
Cell phones are not allowed in the stands. They may be used on the buses.
SOLID BLACK Socks Must be worn with the Uniform.
No Jewelry is allowed with the Uniform.
Students are not allowed out of the stands at the Westside Game.
Those Students who need to go to restroom must be accompanied by a Chaperone.
Drinks and Snacks will be given to the students after Half time on the track area.
REMEMBER TO CHECK YOUR FLIP FOLDER CAREFULLY
