Notes for the Week of August 17th

Schedule Updates
The Battery Drumline will be playing for the Greenville Drive Game/Jim Ed Rice Ceremony on Thursday, September 3rd. This is the Thursday before the Daniel Game. Drumline members will pick up their uniform and leave Hanna at 4:00 on that day.
Our Fall Saturday “Mini” camp has been scheduled for Saturday, September 5th from 9:00 to 1:00. This rehearsal is on the original “master schedule”.
The Mauldin Game has been moved to Thursday, September 10th. We will have a
rehearsal on Friday, September 11th from 4:00 to 6:15
Wednesday afternoons will be reserved for officer meetings directly after school. These meetings will be in the theory room and will last approximately 30 minutes.
The Gaffney and Dorman Away games are tentative for the band; however we will have an afternoon rehearsal on those dates if we do not travel to the game.
Contest Schedule

October 03rd, Pendleton Contest
October 10th, BHP Contest
October 17th, Orangeburg Wilkerson Contest
October 24th, Upper State @ Boiling Springs
October 31st, State Contest @ Batesburg Leesville
Since BHP is a SAT date, we will have a brief rehearsal in the afternoon after the SAT. Our performance time will be between 7 and 8 PM.
Students who wish to wear a baseball cap in the stands must use a TLHB hat. These are available from Bas for $10.00.
Bus lists will be posted by the end of next week.
Please remember your HEALTH form and fees $135.00 if you have not turned them in.
We must have the Health Form before the first game.
Everyone must have Rhapsody passed off to their section leader by August 26th. (Including step outs) Section leaders will also check to make sure music is marked with the correct counts.
Since this will be a travel year for Jazz Band, we will start sign ups and provide audition material after Labor Day.
Audition Music for Region Band and All State is available now.
Chaperone Meeting will be Tuesday, August 25th at 7:15

Shoes will be here by August 20th.
We will wear the full uniform with the exception of Hats and Gloves for the first Game.

Latex Paint of any color (Urgent Need)

Paper or Plastic Cups
Snacks, Crackers etc.
Soft Drinks
Basic tools
