Chaperone Meeting

All parents who wish to serve as a Chaperone for the 2006-2007 school year must attend a mandatory meeting on Tuesday, August 1st at 6:30 in the band room. We are required to hold a meeting and everyone must fill out a form for a background check. Parents who filed these forms last year do not have to do so again. If you have a conflict with this meeting and would like to be a chaperone please call the band office and let us know.

News from Band Camp Week 2!

Red Bull will be bringing free drinks to everyone after the Morning Rehearsal on Tuesday.

Wednesday afternoon will be picture day. Van Sullivan will be taking pictures during sectionals. Please make sure and pick up a brochure at the band room.

Our annual cookout will be this Thursday from 4 to 7. Please come out and enjoy some free food!

We will not have an afternoon rehearsal on Friday. All students will be dismissed at noon.

We need donations of electrical and duct tape, pool cue sticks (for the flag corps), black spray paint.

We are also going to need help with building and painting some props. More information to follow!

"Groove Fest"

We have been asked to provide musicians for the "Groove Fest" at the Civic Center on Friday evening August 11th. Specific information will follow. This is a fund-raiser for the "Partners for a Healthy Community" organization and we will take volunteers for those who would like to play.
