MONDAY: Full Band Rehearsal/Guard will rehearse in the Mall Area

TUESDAY: Full Band Rehearsal

WEDNESDAY: Drum Line and Pit at 4:00 outside
Officer Meeting after school on Wednesday this week?
Wednesday is an Early Dismissal Day (11:40)

THURSDAY: Full Band Rehearsal

FRIDAY: Football Game at Home with Gaffney

Call Time for Friday: 6:15 with Hats and Gloves

First Contest this week At Travelers Rest High School!

SATURDAY: FIRST CONTEST:
Call time 10:00 am for rehearsal
12:00 lunch will be served at the school
1:00 Dress and Load buses
2:00 depart for Travelers Rest HS

· Fruit Packets have been sent home. Please remember that this is our only real fund – raiser that involves our students. We are also asking students to please ask their customers to buy a box of fruit for charity. We will deliver fruit to charities such as Meals on Wheels, AIM, Good Neighbor Cupboard, Salvation Army etc. This is an important community service for our organization which benefits the band and our community.

· The foot ball game at Hillcrest HS on October 3rd has been dropped from our schedule.

Monday: Full Band Practice (Guard will be in the Mall Area)

Tuesday: Full Band Practice

BOOSTER MEETING: TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 9TH @ 7:15 IN THE BAND ROOM
Wednesday: Battery Drum Line and Pit Practice 4:00 to 5:30

Thursday: Full Band Practice

Friday: Football Game @ Mauldin/Call Time 5:30

ü Fruit sale will start this Tuesday. This is our only real fundraiser that involves our students. This is a trip year so everyone’s participation is essential to make this a success. We are going to focus on our local charity donations with the fruit sale this year such. Good Neighbor Cupboard, AIM and Haven of Rest along with other local charities will be included in our “Fruit for Charity” sales.

ü Contest Dates:

ü September 20th: Travelers Rest High School in Greenville County

ü September 27th: Boiling Springs High School in Spartanburg County

ü October 4th: TBA

ü October 11th: TBA

ü October 18th: Upper State at Boiling Springs

ü October 25th: State Contest at Batesburg Leesville

ü October 6th will be our last Monday Rehearsal
