Great Job at the First Contest of the Season! Congratulations on all the hard work to get the drill finished in time and on the Grand Championship!

This week:

Monday: Regular Rehearsal: 4:00 to 6:15 Back Guard Inside Front Guard Outside
Tuesday: Regular Rehearsal: 4:00 to 6:15 All Outside
Wednesday: Battery and Pit outside: 4:00 to 5:30
Thursday: Regular Rehearsal: 4:00 to 6:30

Friday: We are NOT Traveling to RNE for the Football Game

Saturday: Call Time will be 10:30
We will serve lunch at the school before we leave

Our performance time in Boiling Springs is 8:15
Maps will be made available in the Band Room and on the Web Site

Week of September 17th!

HELP!

We need 12 volunteers to help with props who can be at rehearsal and contests. This week we need them on Thursday and Friday in addition to the contest on Saturday.

WE NEED THE SAME TWELVE HELPERS EACH TIME, AND THEY CAN BE ADULTS OR STUDENTS. THEY WILL ACTUALLY BE PART OF THE SHOW.
WE NEED NAMES NOW!!!!!

FRUIT SALE PACKETS WILL GO OUT THIS WEEK!


Monday: Regular Rehearsal from 4:00 to 6:15 - Pit Outside - Guard Inside

Tuesday: Regular Rehearsal from 4:00 to 6:15 - All Outside

Wednesday: Percussion Rehearsal: Battery and Pit - Inside

Thursday: Regular Rehearsal from 4:00 to 6:15 - We need helpers with props for this Rehearsal

Friday: Regular Rehearsal from 4:00 to 6:15 There is no football game this Friday

Saturday: Call Time for RNE Contest in Columbia will be 9:30. We will rehearse, eat at the school and the depart for RNE. We have not been given time for the contest, but will post when they are made available. RNE is Richaland Northeast High School in Columbia. Maps will be available in the band room. We also have maps on our web site that you can print.

We will eat lunch at approximately 12:30 at the school and leave around 2:00. Our Performance time is 6:20.

We will have two more Monday Rehearsals: September 24th and Oct 1st

The Monday Rehearsals will be dropped after the week of Oct. 1st

Remember Homecoming/Senior Night will be the Easley Game. Seniors and Escorts will be announced during the pep rally. Seniors and their parents will be announced at the football game. (Oct. 5th) We will march our competition show after the game on that night.

We still need white duct and electrical tape as well as some inexpensive basic tools for the band room. All donations no matter how small will help

Jazz Band music will go out this week. (Music for Auditions)

The Chicago trip has been confirmed. We have applied and been accepted for the New Trier Jazz Festival on Feb. 9th 2008. Details on this will follow soon.

LOAD THE BUSES AT 4:50 AND LEAVE FOR GAFFNEY AT 5:00

We will have a call practice for full band on Friday, September 21st 3:45 to 6:15
There is not a football game on that date. Please mark this time now.
(This is the day before our first scheduled contest)

Uniform and Instrument reminders:

Uniforms pants, shoes/t shirt must remain on the entire time. Students may not remove any part of the uniform with the exception of the jacket at any time.

Instruments must be stored in the proper place in the locker room. All instruments must be marked with your name.

Music for Jazz Band tryouts will be made available later this week. Please read all information posted in the hall regarding Jazz Band.
